Lot’s of quality fish with nonstop action. Our guide was great and he knew english.

The fishing is action is nonstop with boats averaging 120 Bass per day. Weather is great with a high of 85 and a low of 50. The water level is at 60% with visibility to 10 feet. Best baits to use Buzz Baits, Spinner Baits and Lizards in every color.

We just came back from Lake Mateos, The weather, food and service was fantastic. The fishing was outstanding. On the average everyone caught from 50 to 100 fish per day. With about half weighing 3.5 pounds or more.  Many fish went 6 to 8 pounds, with 5 pounders being common. That is agout 350 pounds of Bass a day, Wow! Fishing is great with catches running up to 100 per day not counting the little ones. Many fish running 4 to 5 pounds. One fisherman reported his 17 pound spiderwire failed to stop many large fish. Weather is great. Water clear to 10 feet. Bass hitting top water and worms. Lake level is at 65-70 % Still have a few spots open for March. Come on down and have some fun.  

The weather is great, low’s in the 50’s high 84. Bass up to 11 pounds being landed. Average fish 4 to 5 pounds 65 to 75 fish per boat each day. Copper colored spinnerbaits and watermellon lizards doing well. Fish holding at 2 to 10 feet. Water clear 8 to 10 feet. Lake at 70% capacity. Food is great come on down.

The water level of Lake Mateos is at 70%. For the most part fish are being caught all day long on plastic worms, Spinner Baits, Rattle Traps and Buzzbaits. Catches are still running up to 100 fish per day. In March watch for our fishing show made by Fishtv. It should be on in your area then.

Bass fishing is fantastic with fish over 10 pounds being caught and catches of up to 200 fish per day. The top water action is hot! The weather is fantastic.  We still have a few openings for the season so, do not be left out in the cold. Book now while the fishing is HOT! HOT! HOT!
